Installation & requirements
  1. Open the downloaded DMG.
  2. Drag Diffy into Applications.
  3. Open Diffy and choose a Git project.

Choose File → Install terminal command to use diffy . from your terminal.

Windows

Alpha

64-bit Intel / AMD · Windows 10+

Download for Windows
Installation & requirements
  1. Run the downloaded installer.
  2. Install for your user; administrator access is not required.
  3. Open Diffy and choose a Git project.

This alpha has no Windows publisher signature. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Only install a download you trust.

Linux

x86-64 · Ubuntu 24.04+ · Wayland or X11 · Vulkan driver

Installation & requirements
  1. Keep the AppImage in a writable folder.
  2. Make it executable: chmod +x Diffy-linux-x86_64.AppImage
  3. Run the AppImage and choose a Git project.

If FUSE is unavailable, run the AppImage with --appimage-extract-and-run. Other distributions are not yet verified.

Windows and Linux are early alphas with limited hardware testing.
